–– Chemical Peels ––

A customized professional peel designed to improve tone, texture, congestion, pigmentation, and overall skin clarity while supporting the skin barrier throughout the recovery process.

Each peel is selected based on your skin type, current condition, goals, and tolerance. Depending on your needs, treatment may focus on brightening, acne and congestion, fine lines, uneven texture, or overall renewal.

Tender Earth approaches chemical exfoliation intentionally — using the strength your skin needs, not simply the strongest peel available.

Each session includes:

  • Consultation + skin analysis

  • Thorough cleansing + skin preparation

  • Customized professional chemical peel

  • Neutralization or removal as appropriate

  • Chilled bio-cellulose recovery mask

  • Cooling ice globe massage

  • Approximately 20 minutes of Celluma LED

  • Barrier-supportive finishing products + SPF

  • Personalized post-care instructions

  • Complete post-treatment recovery kit to take home

Chemical Peel Pre-Care

For the best results, arrive with skin that is calm, intact, and free from active irritation.

  • Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, and other potentially sensitizing products for several days before your appointment.

  • Avoid waxing, dermaplaning, aggressive exfoliation, or other resurfacing treatments shortly before your peel.

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure and do not arrive with a sunburn.

  • Let me know about any recent procedures, medication changes, cold sores, active breakouts, or changes in your health.

  • Come with clean skin when possible and avoid heavy makeup on the day of treatment.

  • Do not intentionally tan before your appointment.

Chemical Peel Post-Care

After your peel, your skin may feel warm, tight, dry, or mildly sensitive. Some clients experience visible flaking or peeling, while others may have very little. Both can be completely normal depending on the peel used.

For the first several days:

  • Keep your routine simple, gentle, and hydrating.

  • Use only the post-care products recommended for you.

  • Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, benzoyl peroxide, and other strong actives until your skin has fully recovered.

  • Do not pick, pull, or exfoliate peeling skin.

  • Avoid excessive heat, saunas, steam rooms, and strenuous exercise immediately after treatment.

  • Avoid swimming during the initial recovery period.

  • Minimize direct sun exposure and use broad-spectrum SPF as directed.

  • Avoid waxing, dermaplaning, or other resurfacing treatments until your skin has fully healed.

  • Keep makeup minimal until the skin feels calm and intact.

What to Expect

Mild redness, dryness, tightness, sensitivity, or flaking can occur in the days following treatment. The amount of peeling varies based on the peel selected and your individual skin response.

And I’d add this little line at the bottom because it fits your philosophy really well:

Not every peel needs to visibly peel. Results are measured by how your skin improves — not by how much it sheds.
